A Commemorative $50 Dollar bill

Several countries call their currency 'dollars'. However, because of U.S. dominance, people in countries that do not use dollars at all, or that use U.S. dollars only, tend to think the Only dollar that exists, is the U.S. dollar. But this is NOT true. Barbados has the Barbadian Dollar. Canada has Canadian dollars. Australia has Australian dollars. To name a few...

Pictured below is a pair of rare commemorative $50 dollar notes from Trinidad and Tobago, which was issued to commemorate our 50th Anniversary of Independence in 2012.

You will see the twin towers of our Central Bank on the back, as well as the Red House where parliament takes place. On the front you will see the Red-capped Cardinal (a bird). 

What's unique about Trinbagonian money is that you will Not see faces of men on it. You usually see birds. I hope it stays that way.
